Welcome to WordCards β Learn Languages. We built WordCards to help you learn languages through flashcards, practice, and progress tracking β on iPhone, iPad, and Android.
We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using WordCards, you agree to this policy. Please also read our Terms of Use, which govern your use of the app.
Data we collect
We collect information that helps us provide and improve WordCards. This may include:

- Learning progress β lessons completed, levels, streaks, scores, and study activity.

- Subscription status β whether you have an active premium plan. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google; we do not receive your full card information.
- Optional voice or audio features β if you use pronunciation or recording tools, related audio may be processed to provide that feature. You can choose not to use these features.

- Save your progress β so you can continue learning across sessions and devices where supported.

WordCards relies on trusted partners to operate. These may include:
- Payment providers β Apple App Store and Google Play process in-app purchases and subscriptions.

We keep your personal data while your account is active and as needed to provide WordCards.
When you request account deletion, or when we no longer need the data for the purposes described in this policy, we will delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable period β except where we must retain certain records for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Backup copies may take additional time to be removed from our systems.
Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

WordCards is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to data processing without parental approval).

WordCards is available in multiple countries. Your information may be processed and stored in locations where we or our service providers operate, which may be different from your country of residence.

WordCards and this Privacy Policy are provided on an βas isβ and βas availableβ basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- We make no warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every expectation.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of WordCards or reliance on this policy.
- Our total liability for claims related to privacy or data handling will not exceed the amount you paid us for subscriptions in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or the minimum amount required by law β whichever is greater.
